Shirley Webster

Shirley Webster has over 30 years of experience providing advisory services on intellectual property matters and complex commercial disputes, including analyses of economic damages as well as expert testimony.  She has advised on intellectual property damages relating to patent infringement, including consideration of both reasonable royalties and lost profits, trade secret misappropriation, trademark infringement, and copyright litigation.  Ms. Webster has testified in federal and state courts and in arbitrations.  Ms. Webster also provides analyses of intellectual property matters before the international Trade Commission with regard to domestic industry and exclusion orders.  Ms. Webster has also advised on the valuation of intellectual property and has assisted in developing strategies for intellectual property licensing.

Ms. Webster provides financial analyses, consulting services, and expert witness testimony on a variety of other types of litigation matters, including breach of contract cases, product liability cases, fraud/misappropriation, and breach of fiduciary duty cases.

Ms. Webster has a B.A. in economics from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.B.A. from Houston Christian University, and a Ph.D. (ABD) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Ms. Webster is a Certified Business Economist™ (CBE), the certification developed by the National Association for Business Economics that documents a professional’s accomplishment, experience, and abilities, and demonstrates mastery of a critical body of knowledge in the fields of economics and data analytics.
