Dr. Avraham Stoler is an Associate Professor of Economics at DePaul University, where he teaches Econometrics, Managerial Economics, and Strategies and Processes of Negotiations, all at the graduate level. Dr. Stoler is an applied micro-economist with diverse research interests and a specialty in health economics. He is currently leading an international, interdisciplinary group – including a Nobel Laureate in economics – researching the economics of organ donation. Their research has been published in multiple journals of economics and medicine.
Dr. Stoler’s consulting experience includes analysis of market definition (including in non-standard industries), monopolization claims, price-fixing, bundling, BEN models and pollution-related damages, as well as intellectual property disputes. He also has experience developing damages analyses in a variety of contexts. His work has covered a wide range of industries, including agricultural products, consumer products, Telecommunications, search engines, equipment leasing, financial services, software, real-estate and tobacco. He previously worked at The Brattle Group and Keystone Strategy. Dr. Stoler received his B.A. and M.A. in economics (with honors) from Tel Aviv University, and his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago.
