Sam Burton

Sam graduated from the College of William & Mary with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Finance. At MITRE Corporation, he worked as a Trade and Supply Chain Intern, building datasets and analytical tools to study international tariff policy, and applying machine learning techniques to support research on U.S.-China trade dynamics. He has also interned in the U.S. Senate, where he researched housing policy and drafted legislative memoranda, and at the Federal Public Defender’s Office, where he supported case preparation through review of court records.
