Hourng began her career in management consulting, including work with McKinsey & Company, before transitioning to economic consulting. She supports clients in corporate finance and valuation, securities litigation, bankruptcy, and complex commercial disputes, assisting with financial and economic analyses for high-stakes matters involving government and private-sector clients.
She has experience in financial modeling, securities valuation, damages analysis, and forensic accounting. Her work includes discounted cash flow analyses, cost of capital estimation, and benchmarking of financial and operating performance. She leverages tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, and Refinitiv to analyze financial statements, market data, and comparable companies.
Hourng holds a Master of Science in Finance from Brandeis University, an MBA from the National University of Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American University of Phnom Penh.
